General Admissions
Central Florida Prep serves students from Pre-Kindergarten (ages 3-6 in our Montessori program) through 12th grade. We offer a complete college preparatory education on one campus, providing continuity from early childhood through high school graduation.
Montessori classes have 24 students with 2 teachers. Elementary classes in 1st-2nd grade have approximately 17 students, and 3rd-5th grade classes typically have around 20 students. Middle School (Grades 6-8) and High School (Grades 9-12) classes are approximately 23 students per class.
Yes. Central Florida Prep accepts international students and is authorized to issue Form I-20 for student visa purposes. Transfer students from other U.S. schools should contact the Admissions Department for transfer documentation.
Central Florida Prep has an acceptance rate of approximately 25%. Our selective admissions process ensures that each student admitted is well-suited to thrive in our academic environment and contribute positively to the school community.
Tuition & Financial Aid
Yes! Central Florida Prep is a proud participating school in Florida's scholarship programs administered by Step Up For Students. We accept both:
- FES-EO, FTC (Educational Options) (K-12): For income-eligible families
- FES-UA (Unique Abilities) (PreK-12): For students with qualifying diagnoses
We also accept AAA Scholarships. Eligibility requirements and scholarship amounts are determined by Step Up For Students. Visit stepupforstudents.org to learn more and apply.
Annual tuition for the 2025-26 school year is:
- Pre-K (Montessori): $9,090
- Kindergarten: $10,195
- Grades 1-5 (Elementary): $12,420
- Grades 6-8 (Middle School): $13,440
- Grades 9-12 (High School): $13,735

We offer two payment options:
- 11-Month Payment Plan: Monthly payments from July 1 through May 1, managed through FACTS Management Company
- Pay in Full: Pay annually and receive a 3% tuition discount
School Life
Students use private transportation. Many CFP families contract with private transportation companies, and you may inquire at the front office for names of transportation companies other families use.
Yes. All students are required to wear school uniforms, which are available through Pointer Printing. Theme days occasionally permit alternative dress.
CFP has been a 1:1 technology school since 2009, the first private school in Orange County to adopt this model. Every student has access to a laptop or tablet, UTeach Panels are in every classroom, and our two STEM labs feature 3D printing, virtual reality equipment, drone technology, flight simulators, and coding tools. The campus has 640 computers.
Central Florida Prep is accredited by Cognia (CASI/NWAC/SACS), AISF (Association of Independent Schools of Florida), MSA CESS (Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools), and NCPSA (National Council for Private School Accreditation).
