Arts Program

Every Child Takes the Stage

At Central Florida Prep, performing arts is more than memorizing lines. It is about finding your voice, building confidence, and discovering the magic of bringing stories to life alongside your classmates.

Our Philosophy

The stage is a mirror where we see ourselves reflected.

Our performing arts program believes that every child has a story to tell. Through theater, music, and movement, students develop public speaking skills, emotional intelligence, and the confidence to express themselves authentically.

From our youngest performers in Pre-K to our high school thespians, each student experiences the transformative power of live performance, and the unbreakable bonds formed with fellow cast members.

The theater is so endlessly fascinating because it is so accidental. It is so much like life.

Our Students Design the Magic

At Central Florida Prep, performing arts extends far beyond the spotlight. Our students are the creative force behind every production, designing and building the sets, creating props, and bringing their artistic vision to life on stage.

This hands-on approach teaches collaboration, problem-solving, and gives every student ownership of the final performance, whether they are on stage or behind the scenes.

Set Design

Students sketch concepts and build backdrops for every production.

Prop Creation

Handmade props bring authenticity and creativity to each scene.

Lighting Ideas

Middle and high schoolers contribute lighting concepts to set the mood.

Costume Design

Students help design and create costumes that tell each character's story.
